Cleartrack carry out traditional Tree Surgery operations using our teams of qualified and experienced Arborists. This function is used in support of our vegetation management contracts as well as for stand alone contracts. Amongst our local authority clients we currently provide Arboricultural services for Jacobs on behalf of Kent County Council as part of a 5 year contract. This work is within Kent County Council's schools and highways infrastructures.
The work orders that are received from Jacobs include tree works incorporating felling and dismantling, pruning, lifting, reducing and planting of trees, as well as stump grinding. All sites are highly sensitive in terms of quality of work, safety and the presentation of staff including appearance and language. Some tree works are undertaken from our mobile elevated working platforms. The Work at
Height Regulations stipulates that such equipment should be used in preference to rope and harness where practicable.
Every job is scoped prior to the crew arriving on site. This ensures that the crews have the specific machinery and equipment with them. In an operation such as the removal of a large Poplar tree from a poor access school site, it may be important to employ rope access and rigging techniques.
With regards to the planning element of the Arboricultural contract we ensure that the crews work is tailored to specific geographical locations to minimise travel times between sites and that the capacity of the vehicle is appropriate.
